Luke 2.10-14
In a field where the shepherds did dwell,
A bright star brought news they could tell.
“Fear not,” sang the choir,
“Joy and peace now inspire,
For a Savior is born—oh, what swell!” -
Luke 1.39-45
In a town where two women did meet,
With joy in their hearts, oh so sweet,
One carried a sign,
Of a love so divine,
Their spirits in harmony beat. -
Luke 3.7-18
In the wild, a voice cried out clear,
To the crowds who had gathered near.
“Repent and be wise,
With fruits that arise,
For the kingdom of God is quite near!”
They came seeking wisdom and grace,
As the preacher laid bare every face.
“Don’t boast of your kin,
True change starts within,
Let love guide your heart’s rightful place!”
He spoke of a fire to ignite,
And a path that would lead to the light.
With hope in their hearts,
They all played their parts,
In a journey that felt truly right! -
Luke 3.1-6
In a land where the voices grew loud,
A prophet arose from the crowd.
He called for a change,
In ways that felt strange,
And the hearts of the people he vowed.
With waters to cleanse and renew,
He preached of a path that was true.
Through valleys and hills,
His message fulfills,
For the glory of God would break through. -
Luke 21.25-36
In the skies, signs will appear bright,
With the nations gripped by great fright.
Hearts will tremble and sway,
As the world fades away,
Yet hope shines through the darkest of night.
Stand tall, for your time draws near,
Lift your heads without any fear.
For redemption is nigh,
When the clouds part the sky,
And the promise of peace will be clear. -
Luke 4.15-24
In a town where the prophets once spoke,
A teacher arose, and he woke,
With words that inspired,
The crowd was so wired,
Yet some scoffed, “Isn’t this just a joke?” -
Luke 24.36b-48
Jesus appeared to the crew
And said, “Peace be with all of you”
He showed them his hands
And fulfilled God’s plans
So they could preach the good news too -

There once was a man in the land,
Who thought he could take a bold stand.
He tempted the Lord,
But his efforts were floored,
For God’s word he did not understand. -

In Jerusalem a man named Simeon
Waited for the promised one to come
When he saw the baby boy
His heart was filled with joy
For he knew this child was God’s own son -
Luke 2.15-21
In Bethlehem’s town, shepherds did see
A baby born to set people free
They spread the good news
Of a Savior to choose
And praised God for what they did see
