In the desert, God’s people did thirst
But he provided water first
From the rock it did flow
And they drank, don’t you know
His love and provision came first

There’s a passage that speaks of God’s reign
His love and compassion sustain
He lifts up all who fall
And answers when we call
In His kingdom, forever we’ll remain

There’s peace for those who fear the Lord
His salvation is our reward
Mercy and truth have met
Righteousness and peace are set
In the land where love is restored

There once was a time of distress
When the faithful were feeling much less
But the Lord heard their cries
And wiped tears from their eyes
He brought comfort and granted them rest

In my time of distress and despair,
I called out to God in my prayer.
He lifted me up,
And filled up my cup,
With joy and removed all my care.

There once were sailors out at sea
Caught in a storm, they felt so free
They cried out to the Lord
He calmed the waves with His word
And led them to safety with glee.

There’s a song of praise we should sing
To the Lord, our eternal King
In the morning light
And the dark of night
Let our voices in worship ring

There once was a call to rejoice
To sing and lift up our voice
God said, “I am the Lord
Who brought you out restored
So listen and make me your choice”

The voice of the Lord is so strong
It thunders and shakes all day long
His glory and might
Fill the earth with delight
And His people will sing a new song

In the sea, great creatures do dwell
And ships sail upon it as well
The earth is filled with God’s grace
And all creatures seek His embrace
Let us praise Him, our stories to tell
