1 Thessalonians 5.1-11
There once was a time of great strife,
When people had no hope in life,
God said “Be alert”
And don’t be perturbed,
For I will give you peace and light. -
Psalm 90.1-8
The Lord, our refuge and our strength,
To Him we turn in fear at length.
He is our fortress, safe from harm,
Our hope for future, free from alarm.
His wrath will come in righteous fire,
But He will give us peace and respire.
For all of us, His love remains,
