There once was a priest named Melchizedek
Who brought out bread and wine, so to speak
He blessed Abram that day
And gave thanks in his own way
For the victory that Abram did seek

There once was a man named Adam
God said he needed a pal
A helper and friend
To be by his side, ’till
The Lord made him a gal.

There once was an Eden so fair,
God planted a garden with care.
He placed there the man to be king,
And from the soil, life did spring,
A paradise made for us to share.

The serpent tempted Eve with care
To eat the fruit of knowledge there
She took a bite and soon did see
That Adam followed suit eagerly
They found themselves in shame and bare

There was a man named Adam, so bold
He needed a helpmate, so God told
He formed a woman from his rib
And made them both a garden to live
It was then that the Lord said, behold!

Joseph’s brothers were scared of his ire
For they had sold him to Egypt in hire
But God had a plan
For them to understand
That Joseph still loved them, no liar

A righteous man named Abraham
In dialogue with God did stand
He asked “Should I spare
The wicked ones there?”
God said “No, for I command!”

A serpent with crafty intent
Said to the woman, “You shall relent
Your eyes shall be opened
Forbidden fruit broken
The consequence of this will be spent
